Overview
Canyon County's original train depot, built in 1903, is now the home of the Canyon County Historical Museum. The former depot is perhaps Idaho's finest example of Baroque revival architecture. Used as a depot until the 1920s, it now houses displays of both Canyon County and Union Pacific Railroad memorabilia, including a 1940s-era caboose that can be toured.
Two model train layouts are a favorite among guests of all ages. Agricultural, medical, and household items can be viewed in the Annex, along with Rosabelle, the talking cow.
