Overview
A life-long dream of Morrison-Knudsen Co. founder Harry K. Morrison, the Velma V. Morrison Center is one of the finest performing arts halls in the country, nestled on the banks of the Boise River on the campus of Boise State University. Morrison's widow Velma continued her support and the center opened in 1984. The Velma V. Morrison Center continues to bring artistic excellence to Boise and Southern Idaho. Whether it be a ballet, Broadway musical, symphony, chorus, opera ensemble, or solo, the Velma V. Morrison Center provides an unsurpassed setting for performers and audiences alike.
