 Overview
The Owyhee County Historical Society's mission is to preserve for future generations historical records, documents, sites building, articles, oral histories and artifacts of Owyhee County. This museum at Murphy features Owyhee County history, an exhibit hall, school house, farm machinery and a mining stamp mill. They sponsor an effort to instill in school children, as well as adults, an appreciation of county history.
