 Overview
Visable from east of Twin Falls, Oregon Trail travelers used Teapot Dome as a major landmark. The hike to the dome, an undeveloped 1000-foot ascent to the top, offers an excellent view of the valley. There are well-preserved Oregon Trail ruts along the trail here.
