Overview
Visitors to Long Valley can take a trip back in time with a visit to the Valley County Museum, located at the former town site of Roseberry. The museum is owned and operated by the Long Valley Preservation Society, which was organized as a non-profit corporation in 1972. Roseberry consists of several original buildings dating back to the turn of the century. The Roseberry General Store (1905) was reopened in the historic townsite. Townsite includes two schools, two barns, a carriage house, several Finn buildings, and a replicated bandstand. The Nelle Tobias Research Center is now in operation. Summer activities include ice cream socials, a folklore festival, art & music shows. a 4th of July arts & crafts show and more.
