Overview
Atlanta is a small mining era town on the west side of the Sawtooth Mountains, established in 1864. It is approximately 80 miles from Boise, most of which is on a gravel road and now has a population of about 40 people. The area has several natural hot springs close to town and outstanding views of Greylock Mountain and the Middle Fork of the Boise River.
