Overview
Ann Morrison Park is a large urban park located near downtown Boise. The 145-acre park features a reflecting pool with water cascading from a spray fountain, gardens, Candy Cane Playground, tennis courts, lighted softball diamonds, soccor and football fields, and a picnic pavillion-all provide many leisure opportunities for visitors. Park amenities also include an 18-hole disc golf course, horseshoe pits and restrooms. The Boise River Greenbelt, a popular pathway for pedestrians and bicyclists, follows the length of the park. River floaters end their run here at the pick-up point for a bus to transport them back to Barber Park during rafting season. The park is named after Anna Daly, who married Harry W. Morrison, founder of the Morrison-Knudsen Company, in 1914.
