 Overview
The World Sports Humanitarian Hall of Fame honors world-class athletes who are role models and humanitarians. Displays include artifacts and photos about the positive aspects of sports in human life and the specific athletes chosen for the honor. Inductees include such world-class athletes as Arthur Ashe, Rafer Johnson, Chi Chi Rodriguez, Roberto Clemente, Julius Erving, Bonnie Blair, Jackie Joyner-Kersee, David Robinson, Tony Gwynn, Mary Lou Retton, Kirby Puckett and Nate "Tiny" Archibald. Recent honorees include basketball star A.C. Green, tennis player Andrea Jaeger and Olympic Gold Medal winning speed skater Johann Olav Koss, Steve Young and the Harlem Globetrotters honoring them for touching the world.
