The longest-running event in Idaho, the Emmett Cherry Festival will be celebrating 75 years in June 2009. It's all about celebrating family, friends and CHERRIES! Cherry pit-spitting, Cherry Pie Eating contests, The Great Cherry Bake-off and of course tour the Cherry Orchards, we've got a map. The whole community gets in on the fun with a fabulous quilt show, Gem Sheriff's Posse Rodeo, Fun Run, Emmett Cherry Festival Parade, kids parade, Cherry Festival Car Show, Emmett Cherry Festival Softball Tournament, and so much more. The Emmett Cherry Festival is all about fun with free entertainment all four days, free nightly concerts featuring amazing bands. Kids will find daily FREE activities in the Kid's Cherry Zone. Of course, there are Food Vendors selling the best in festival food. About 100 Expo Vendors bring amazing items for sale, you won't leave empty-handed with so many one-of-a-kind Arts & Crafts and other items from which to choose. Over 40,000 folks know where to be in June, won't you join us..it's the best family-fun you'll ever have.
