VETERAN'S DAY Open House
(Gates open at 6:30) 7:30-10:00 PM
You are cordially invited to our Open House And Celebration of Veterans
Weapons from the Revolutionary War to the present will be on display and demonstrated.
Idaho Civil War Volunteers will be demonstrating weapons and tactics of the conflict and also fire M1857 Napoleon 12 pounder guns.
WWII Reenactors Group will be demonstrating small arms of that conflict along with two M1A1 75mm pack howitzers.
Idaho Automatic Weapons Collectors Association will be here during the normal business day with various historic military weapons, including WWI, WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.
The Sleekit Beasties Bag Pipe Band will perform through out the evening.
TAPS bugle tribute by the 25th Army Band in recognition of Idaho's fallen warriors in the War Against Terrorism will close the event.
Also joining us will be:
Gayle Alvarez, local author will be on hand to autograph copies of her book Idaho's Men of Valor, Medal of Honor Recipients with Idaho Attachments
Other items of interest: Gem State Young Marines will be providing parking
and assistance. There will also be a concession stand where drinks can be purchased for a nominal price. Limited bleacher seating will be available.
Personal lawn chairs and earplugs are recommended.

General Admission: $3.00
Students w/School ID: $1.00
Children under 6: Free
Gates open at 6:30, with the General Officers of the Idaho National Guard firing the kick-off Salute at 7:30 in a 5-Star Salute to Veterans!
